After my

In Toronto, I have been studying a
post-graduation certificate in Global Business Management and working part-time
in a school of languages in the Marketing department. I am looking for
opportunities to grow as person and as professional.

Shiffali Pathania |
I am an international student at Centennial College, enrolled in the Global Business Management program. I have done by Bachelors in
Economics from India. I have 5 years of experience in customer service. I have
worked with Dell International Services and WNS.
As a part of my studies, I am
preparing a business plan along with my team in order to create a social enterprise which can
help us attain competitive market share in the Canadian market through our competitive
and innovative strategies. This will also help the underprivileged communities in
Nepal uplift their standard of living.
In our business plan, we are planning to import scarves from Nepal which are made by poor women living in the mountains. These women have the caliber and creative ideas to prepare exceptional products. However, they do not get the competitive price for their products. They sell their products on a very small scale and do not have access to the international market.
As part of our business plan, we are planning to import these scarves from Nepal which are available in variety of fabrics, designs, colours and can also be customized according to taste.
We will sell these scarves in the Canadian market starting our business from the college campus and provide the poor communities in Nepal, which are selling these products to us, a fair price for their products. This will help them uplift their lives, educate their children, maintain good health for their families and fulfill their dreams.
